Whether it be your child or you as an adult, unless the student learned to play the Simply Music way, yes. You will learn something very new: a different way of thinking about music. We will establish a new foundation from which a new skill set will be built upon. You will be learning a new way of learning. Instead of looking at music as a linear, note by note progression, you will be looking at music in terms of sentences, shapes and patterns. In addition, we will be drawing from existing aural and visual skills and the natural sense of musicality that you already have, which all humans possess.
